Volcano vibes (9 & 10)

I'm surrounded by bright light again, so no worries. We'll keep on going with this outfit until my last breath. In part 9 I arrive at the shelter. Left the bike 200 meters below, because it was to hard for miss Guzzi. She was screaming for oxigen, like me. Man, I sound like an old pullhorse (zeer vrije vertaling van trekpaard). But we made it safe and sound. It's a hard work at this altitude. It overcomes me now and then that I almost pass out because of a lack of oxigen. Anyway have fun.

Volcano vibes (7 & 8)

Oops, a day of very black energy. Had a vicious dream in which appeared an ugly Dutch editor fuck and my day was ruined. Happens to to best of us I guess. I remembered that I worked half year for nothing for this KRO Barbie-bitch and I felt like hiring a sicario. But that was yesterday. Today is another day, an other ride. Personaly I like part 7 and 8 the most. The bike and I have to work very hard. I drive at an altitude of 4500 meters. The road is a mess as you can see.

Volcano vibes (5 & 6)

Although Paul and the Guzzi will stop with the website after this Volcano vibes-thriller he keeps uploading with the speed of sound. He´s spending too much money on internet and nobody is looking at his website anyway ´so why should I care´, he said earlier this day. 'I prefer to buy gasoline for the Guzzi than spend one more dollar on internet.' And so it will be.

A lot has happened since I left Colombia. I stayed a month in Quito, Ecuador’s capital where I met Mary a Colombian sweetheart. She’s the owner of the hotel I stayed in. She’s married with an Ecuadorian scumbag, has a beautiful little daughter and all and lives a unusual double life only I know about. She scares the shit out of my sister and I do understand, I really do. Daantje doesn’t trust her. My sister knows more or less what my dear does for a living so I can’t blame her. But don’t forget that my sister looks at a photo and reads some words of mine, no more. I am the only one who can look in her heart – and I tell you Mary is beautiful, 100 percent Latina. And she promised me that nobody would harm me while she’s with me. Think she likes me Guzman? You think she really does? I mean since I left Mexico my self-confidence got a serious blow, no lie.

Bekentenis van een verwarde man (3a)

‘We hebben twee Clocks in huis’, zegt M. We lopen over de calle Venezuela langs Plaza Grande op weg naar ons hotel, waar Don F. alweer een tijdje ongeduldig op M. zit te wachten. Ze vertelt het zo achteloos Guzman dat ik in eerste instantie geen benul heb. ‘Que me dijiste flacita linda?’ ‘We hebben twee Clocks in huis, en een doos met kogels’, herhaalt ze zakelijk. Dan dringt het tot me door: pistool (nee, twee zelfs) en een doos met kogels. Jezus, wat nu weer? Deze Colombiaanse speeldoos blijft verrassen.

Bekentenis van een verwarde man (2)

Sinds vandaag ben ik homo. Tenminste, hier in het oude stadscentrum van Quito. Daarbuiten zal het wel loslopen. Gisteren vertelde ik M. dat als haar man ook maar het kleinste beetje argwaan zou krijgen ze maar moest vertellen dat ik gay ben. Als je de buitenechtelijke liefde bedrijft, heb je wisselgeld nodig, liefst zakkenvol. Ik heb goede papieren; 42, nooit getrouwd geweest, geen kinderen en alleen op reis. Hier in Latijns-Amerika ben je kansloos, compleet uitgerangeerd als 42-jarige soltero, ongehuwde man. Dus ik moet wel gay zijn. Bovendien beste Guzman, de verandering in geslachtsvoorkeur geeft ons een prettig alibi. Mocht Don F. ons betrappen, flanerend over staat, dan ben ik die vriend die haar zo goed begrijpt. Homo’s kunnen goed luisteren naar het geweeklaag van de vrouwen, of doen op zijn minst alsof ze luisteren. Geen speld tussen te krijgen. Ik weet nog niet wat ik Don F. wijs moet maken als hij ons in een compromitterend standje aantreft onder de douche. Dat is voor latere zorg, wat jij Guzman?
